Prestigious International Show Jumping Competitions Kick Off in Tashkent

Prestigious international competitions in show jumping, one of the most exciting and spectacular disciplines of equestrian sport, have commenced in the capital city of Tashkent. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
Within the framework of this major sporting event, riders are showcasing their skills in both the World Cup qualifying stages and the Asian Cup matches. This competition is a significant milestone in the sporting life of not only our country but the entire region, highlighting the high level of preparation among the participating athletes.
The opening day of the competition proved to be even more productive and successful for the members of the Uzbekistan national team than expected. Our representatives managed to secure several podium finishes through their expertise and synergy with their horses.
Notably, Dilshod Shokirov, riding La Bluye Rouge, outperformed all opponents in the 110 cm obstacle jump to claim the gold medal. Silver medals were also added to the national tally.
Anna Sigidina took second place on her horse Elis G in the same height category. Another skilled rider, Alisher Erkinov, won a silver medal in the 120 cm obstacle course with his horse Cool dancer, earning the applause of the spectators.
It is worth noting that more than a hundred experienced athletes from over twenty countries are participating in this international tournament. Such extensive participation significantly increases the level of competition, making every performance more thrilling and intense.
According to One.uz, this sporting festival is scheduled to continue until May 3rd of this year. Several days of intense competition still lie ahead.
