Uzbek youth judokas won eight medals at an international tournament in Berlin

A prestigious international youth judo tournament has started in the German capital Berlin. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
At this competition, in which skilled athletes from thirty-five countries of the world are taking part, members of the Uzbekistan national team have demonstrated their high level of preparation and from the very first day have achieved major successes. Our young wrestlers took worthy part on the international arena and once again confirmed the sporting potential of our country.
It is gratifying that on the first day of the competition, eight out of ten of our compatriots who stepped onto the tatami were in the ranks of the medallists. Charos Khikmatova and Abubakr Sattor, who fought uncompromisingly in their weight categories, defeated their opponents and earned gold medals.
Their victory raised the morale of our team even further. Also, Mamurjon Abduvakhobov and Davlatbek Akhrorov fought worthily in decisive bouts and earned silver medals.
Four bronze medals were also added to our team's tally. Iroda Sirojiddinova, Dilafruz Boltaboyeva, Bobur Yusupov and Akromjon Karimov took third places in their weight categories and further strengthened our overall results.
Thanks to these achievements, the Uzbekistan youth national team took the lead in the overall team standings according to the results of the first day. According to information from the One.uz website, the successful performance of young Uzbek judokas on the Berlin tatami continues.
The coaching staff and sports specialists expect significant results from the team in the performances of the following days as well. This international tournament serves as a school of experience for our young athletes and at the same time serves as an important stage of preparation for upcoming prestigious competitions.
