Kai Rooney returns to Manchester United training after injury

Manchester United academy player Kai Rooney has taken a new step in his recovery process after a serious injury. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
The son of club legend Wayne Rooney has not played since March of this year, but is now continuing his recovery training at the Carrington training ground. This was reported by Goal.com.
The young footballer shared the good news with fans by posting a picture from the training ground on his social media page. The forward, who has just turned sixteen, announced on his personal page that he had started running again and showed that he is looking to the future with great hope.
This season, Kai Rooney was showing excellent play under coach Darren Fletcher, but a serious thigh injury halted his sporting development for some time. About a month ago, the footballer announced that the current season had ended early for him.
Despite this, he did not lose heart and promised to return even stronger next season. Before getting injured, the young talent had managed to make his debut at the legendary Old Trafford stadium.
Although he was on the field for only one hundred and nineteen minutes, he managed to score two goals and make one assist. With these results, he proved in practice the goal-scoring ability inherited from his father.
This is not the first serious challenge in Kai Rooney's career. In September 2025, after being called up to the under-nineteen national team, he also suffered a leg injury and was sidelined for some time.
Despite this, club coaches and industry experts highly value the young footballer's mental resilience and his ability to make effective use of situations. His return to action is expected to further strengthen the academy's attacking line.
