Bayern's Jamal Musiala has been banned from driving

Bayern Munich's talented attacking midfielder, Jamal Musiala, has been banned from driving after being caught speeding on the highway and causing a traffic accident, Zamin.uz reports.
The German national team player was involved in a collision while driving his high-powered electric sports car, which resulted in serious legal consequences. According to Goal.com, this reckless incident could also impact the footballer's career.
The incident occurred on April 13, 2025, when Musiala was traveling along the A8 autobahn toward Salzburg. At the time, the Bayern representative was behind the wheel of a modern Audi RS e-tron GT with 600 horsepower.
Florian Lindemanning, a representative of the Munich prosecutor's office, explained that the footballer, while attempting an overtaking maneuver, drove carelessly and failed to notice the vehicle on the right, leading to the collision. Based on the accident investigation and expert analysis, it was determined that Jamal Musiala was driving at 194 km/h in a zone where the speed limit is 120 km/h.
As a result of the crash, two passengers in the VW Golf sustained minor injuries. Specialists estimated the total material damage caused by the damage at approximately 200,000 euros.
The Munich District Court has ruled on the appropriate punishment for the 23-year-old footballer for endangering road safety through negligence and causing bodily injury to others. The Chelsea academy graduate must not only pay a substantial fine but has also had his driver's license officially revoked.
This means he will need to change his routine for getting to and from daily activities. As added by the prosecutor's representative, Jamal Musiala has been deprived of the right to drive a vehicle for at least nine months.
A new driver's license may only be issued to him starting from the autumn of this year. For now, the footballer's official representatives have commented on the situation and confirmed that the court ruling has entered into legal force.
From now on, the young star will have to rely on public transportation or a personal driver for his travel needs.
