Uzbekistani taekwondo athletes won two bronze medals at the Asian Championships

On the second day of the competition, the rivalry among athletes intensified, and the battles without mercy became evident. It is worth noting that the members of the Uzbek national taekwondo team demonstrated their high level of preparation in this influential tournament, continuing to enrich our country's sports treasury with new medals.
According to the information from the National Olympic Committee, our compatriots won two bronze medals by the end of this day. The first success was achieved by our talented athlete Omonjon Otajonov, who stepped onto the mat in the 58 kg weight category.
He confidently passed the way to the quarterfinals and showed worthy resistance against some of the strongest taekwondo athletes of the continent in the semifinal. According to the final results, Otajonov took third place on the podium and entered the top four in his weight category.
Furthermore, Najmiddin Qosimhojiyev, who defended the honor of our homeland in the up to 74 kg weight category, also fully demonstrated his skill. He delivered worthy blows to his opponents in the tough matches of the continental championship and ultimately won a bronze medal.
Such a result by our athlete contributes to strengthening the position of our national team in the overall ranking. These achievements indicate that the influence of the Uzbek taekwondo school on the international arena is growing.
