Barcelona are preparing to send Ter Stegen out on loan

Although Marc-André ter Stegen's current contract with Barcelona continues, his future at the club seems to have come to an end. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
The Catalan club is ready to allow the experienced goalkeeper to leave the team, but in the current situation, a loan option is being considered as the most viable path. This information was shared by Goal.
According to reports from Spain's Mundo Deportivo, completing a full transfer for the goalkeeper, whose contract runs until 2028, has become a very difficult task. Due to the former captain's high salary and frequent injuries in recent years, other clubs are unwilling to take such a significant financial risk.
Therefore, the club management is considering loaning him to another team temporarily rather than selling him. During last summer's transfer window, Barcelona signed Joan García from Espanyol and made him the primary goalkeeper.
After recovering from a back injury, Ter Stegen moved to Girona on loan in January to gain match practice. However, he only managed to appear in two matches for his new team before getting injured again and being forced to miss the World Cup.
According to the latest information, once the goalkeeper fully recovers and returns to the squad, Barcelona plans to loan him out to another team again. The Spanish press is calling him one of the most problematic players in the squad.
As seen in the agreement with Girona, the Blaugrana may have to cover a large portion of the 34-year-old keeper's salary. Ter Stegen was signed from Borussia Mönchengladbach in 2014 for 12 million euros.
For over a decade, he worthily defended the honor of the Catalans and won many prestigious trophies. Nevertheless, due to aging and physical condition issues, it seems the time has come for him to say goodbye to Barcelona.
The club now aims to rely on young and promising goalkeepers in his place.
