«Atletiko Madrid» is planning major transfers to strengthen the squad

Mateu Alemany, the sports director of Madrid's Atletico club, is planning a major squad overhaul during the upcoming transfer window, according to Zamin.uz.
Diego Simeone, the head coach of the Spanish team, is ready to consider significant offers for forward Julian Alvarez in order to strengthen the squad and attract new stars, as reported by Goal.com. The club may even be willing to part with some of its most important players in the process of rebuilding.
Following Antoine Griezmann's departure, the club's management aims to fill the void by acquiring high-quality players such as Bernardo Silva and Cristian Romero. Having finished fourth in La Liga and reached the Champions League semifinals last season, Atletico Madrid recognizes the need to improve its squad.
As a result, Alvarez's transfer could become crucial for improving the club's financial situation and raising funds for new signings. Julian Alvarez joined the team in 2024 for a substantial fee.
Although he scored twenty goals this season, he has yet to win a major trophy with Atletico. The World Cup-winning striker is expected to attract interest from Europe's top clubs, including Paris Saint-Germain, Barcelona, and Arsenal.
Furthermore, the French champions view him as an ideal candidate for their attacking line. The proceeds from Alvarez's sale could enable Atletico Madrid to complete the transfers of Bernardo Silva, who won all trophies with Manchester City, and Tottenham defender Cristian Romero.
The club is also interested in talented players like Joao Gomes and Marc Cucurella. Diego Simeone stated that he will not interfere with players' decisions about their futures and emphasized that each player should choose their own path.
If an offer exceeding 100 million euros is made for Alvarez, the likelihood of this transfer being completed is considered very high.
