Michael Owen called on Arsenal to fundamentally reform their attacking line

Although Arsenal London are approaching long-awaited triumphs, specialists say the squad needs further strengthening. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
According to football legend Michael Owen, Arsenal head coach Mikel Arteta plans to fundamentally overhaul the attacking line. In the past summer, Viktor Gyokeres, acquired from Sporting for a significant fee, has scored more than twenty goals in all competitions.
However, according to Goal.com, these results have not fully satisfied the club’s management. Michael Owen does not consider the Swedish striker the ideal candidate for Arsenal’s future.
He emphasized that the club’s leadership is considering serious changes, particularly in the central attacking position. Despite Gyokeres’ technical skill and presence in decisive matches, doubts remain.
Owen believes that if a top-class striker like Thierry Henry becomes available on the transfer market, the London club will spare no effort to sign him. Currently, Mikel Arteta has established a perfect mechanism in the squad and is pulling ahead of main rivals.
Nevertheless, the club’s next goal is to maintain achieved dominance and elevate the quality of play to a new level. Owen warns that the squad renewal process must be approached with extreme caution.
Unjustified spending aimed at improving the squad could disrupt the team’s internal balance. He illustrated the importance of prudence using the example of Liverpool.
In his view, spending excessively in a single season and completely overhauling the squad represents a major risk. For Arsenal’s management and coaching staff, the greatest challenge lies in strengthening the team while preserving this balance.
Arsenal fans await from the management new star signings that will reinforce the attacking line.
