Despite rumors linking Mauricio Pochettino to a move to AC Milan, the head coach of the United States men's national team has confirmed his full focus remains on the upcoming World Cup, as reported by Zamin.uz.

During a training camp in Atlanta, the experienced specialist openly answered questions about his future, while emphasizing that his sole priority is the national team project. According to Goal.com, Pochettino stated he takes full responsibility for his current role.

Italian media had reported that talks took place between Milan's management and Pochettino. The coach did not deny the meetings occurred, but described them as casual conversations and part of exploring future possibilities.

He added that such informal discussions are normal in football and do not affect his contractual obligations. Speaking at a press conference, the Argentine specialist clearly stated he has no intention of leaving his position at this time.

He stressed that the entire coaching staff's attention and effort are directed toward elevating the national team to a high level by the conclusion of the World Cup. Pochettino added that if he were not committed to his role and the team, there would be no point in continuing with the project.

The leadership of the United States Soccer Federation also confirmed they are fully informed about the situation and see no cause for concern. According to JT Batson, the federation's leadership is working not only with the head coach on the senior team but also on long-term strategic plans involving the Olympic team and youth soccer development across the country.

Recall that Mauricio Pochettino was appointed to prepare the United States men's national team for the 2026 World Cup. Interest shown by influential clubs like Milan reflects the high regard for his professional abilities.

Nevertheless, the specialist has decided to see through his primary mission and remain faithful to his commitments.
