«Santos» club clarified the situation regarding Neymar's injury

Brazil's Santos club has issued an official statement to clarify the controversial situation regarding the health of its academy graduate and world football star Neymar Junior. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
Initially, club doctors considered the player's injury to be non-serious, assessing it as mild swelling. However, as a result of in-depth medical examinations conducted by the head doctor of the Brazilian national team, Rodrigo Lasmar, it was revealed that the forward has a second-degree muscle strain.
Consequently, the experienced footballer will be unable to participate in important friendly matches against the national teams of Panama and Egypt. This information was disseminated by Goal.com.
The management of Santos club strictly denied rumors that there were misunderstandings during the information exchange process with the Brazilian Football Confederation. Club representatives emphasized that all medical conclusions regarding Neymar's condition were submitted to the relevant organization within the specified timeframe.
According to current plans, the player's recovery process will continue until the end of March, and he may be able to join general group training starting from the first days of April. Club doctors specifically noted that they have worked with Neymar for many years and that his body has the ability to recover quickly from injuries.
This situation came as unexpected news for the national team's head coach, Carlo Ancelotti. Based on initial information, the Italian specialist had included Neymar in the starting lineup plans.
However, repeated examinations conducted at the national team's headquarters showed that the situation is slightly more complex. Now, the player's health has been placed under the full control of the confederation's doctors.
The coaching staff will monitor the player's condition until mid-June. If Neymar cannot restore his sporting form by the first match of the World Cup group stage, there is a possibility that he will be removed from the prestigious tournament's roster.
Currently, the star forward is continuing special treatments under the supervision of doctors.
