Real Madrid presidential candidate plans to buy Rodri

Manchester City's skilled midfielder Rodri has become a central topic of the upcoming presidential elections at Real Madrid. This was reported by Zamin.uz.

Enrique Riquelme, who has put forward his candidacy for this prestigious position, openly praised the Spanish national team member. He emphasized that this particular footballer is the most suitable candidate to fill the void currently missing in the center of the royal club's pitch.

This information was disseminated by Goal. Riquelme fueled various transfer rumors by stating that Rodri, the 2024 Ballon d'Or winner, would be a perfect acquisition for Real Madrid.

Ahead of the elections taking place in June of this year, the thirty-seven-year-old entrepreneur did not hide his interest in one of the world's most prestigious players. In his interview, he expressed his intention to bring the Spanish star back to his hometown, stating that this would fully align with the club's strategy.

"I like this footballer very much; he is a wonderful player and possesses all the qualities that should be present in the Real Madrid squad," Riquelme said. He also added that Rodri is currently a member of another club and that this must be respected.

According to the candidate, Rodri is a professional of a level that makes it essential for him to play in the Madrid team's jersey. Details of these plans are expected to be discussed in depth once the election process reaches its peak.

As the presidential race becomes increasingly intense, Riquelme is relying on the club's tradition of making major transfer promises. He claimed to have already reached verbal agreements with two international stars.

Although he did not officially confirm Rodri's name, he hinted that one of the targets would defend Spain's honor in the upcoming World Cup. This has sparked various speculations among fans.

This strategy is reminiscent of Florentino Perez's famous election campaign in 2000. At that time, Perez shocked the football world by promising to bring Luis Figo from arch-rivals Barcelona.

Riquelme also hopes to win the fans' trust and achieve victory in the election through his high-level transfers. Currently, Madrid team fans are waiting with great interest to see the outcome of these sensational events.
