Kay Xaverts spoke about the final between «Arsenal» and «PSG»
Arsenal's skilled midfielder Kai Havertz shared his thoughts ahead of the decisive Champions League match. Zamin.uz reported on this.
The London club will face Paris Saint-Germain in the final of Europe's most prestigious tournament on May 30 of this year. According to the German footballer, in matches of this level, it is absolutely irrelevant who is rated higher or who is considered the underdog.
While acknowledging the opponent's successes last season, he specifically emphasized that Arsenal did not reach this stage by chance. Havertz admitted that PSG won the Champions League last year and was the strongest team in Europe at that time.
He also noted that the Parisians have shown consistent and meaningful play this year as well. However, the footballer stated that the representatives of the London club have great confidence in their own strength.
According to him, team unity and a hunger for victory will play a crucial role at the decisive moment. This final match holds historical significance for the Arsenal team.
The Londoners have reached the final of this prestigious competition for the second time in their history. The team managed by Mikel Arteta has achieved significant growth in recent years and recently won the English championship.
Havertz is confident that the victory in the domestic league will give the players additional psychological strength. The fact that the team, which has fought at a high level for several years, has finally achieved its goal has made them even more cohesive.
The footballer said that in the final match, it is not excessive calculations, but will and character on the field that will prevail. In his opinion, regardless of the opponent's status, one should think only about victory when stepping onto the field.
Havertz believes that every member of the team will put in all their effort to defeat the opponent. According to One.uz, Kai Havertz emphasized that in the final, it is not status, but the team that gives everything for victory on the field that will succeed.
In conclusion, it can be said that the Arsenal players are not intimidated by PSG's status as defending champions. On the contrary, inspired by their recent achievements, they are preparing to seize the European throne.
The final match will be not only a clash of two strong teams, but a battle between two different football philosophies. The Londoners are determined to realize their long-awaited dream and secure Europe's most prestigious trophy.
