"Barcelona" and "Arsenal" are interested in defender Piero Hincapié

Currently, Hincapie is a player on loan at Arsenal from Bayer Leverkusen. However, the contract includes a mandatory purchase clause that takes effect if certain conditions are met.

It is expected that Arsenal will soon pay 52 million euros and sign a five-year contract with the Ecuadorian athlete. Hincapie has become an important member of the team led by Mikel Arteta and has even secured a place in the starting lineup for the Champions League final against Paris Saint-Germain in Budapest.

Barcelona has already launched its summer transfer campaign. The team has finalized the transfer of Newcastle United forward Anthony Gordon, and stars such as Julian Alvarez and Bernardo Silva are also expected to join the squad.

Despite the club's financial difficulties, sporting director Deco aims to purchase at least one center-back. After negotiations with Inter defender Alessandro Bastoni stalled, Hincapie became the primary target.
