Portugal vs Uzbekistan match entered the World Cup spectators' top 10

The clash, held at the NRG Stadium in Houston, was watched by 68,777 fans directly from the stadium stands. This result placed the Portugal – Uzbekistan match seventh on the list of the most attended matches of the second round.
The largest audience in the second round was recorded in the game between the national teams of Norway and Senegal. This match was watched by 80,663 fans from the stadium.
Additionally, 70,649 spectators attended the Argentina – Austria match, and 70,317 attended the Belgium – Iran clash. The game between Switzerland and Bosnia and Herzegovina drew 70,026 fans, Turkey and Paraguay 68,827 fans, the Netherlands and Sweden 68,777 fans, Ecuador and Curaçao 68,598 fans, Jordan and Algeria 68,371 fans, and Brazil and Haiti 68,324 fans.
As a reminder, the match between the national teams of Portugal and Uzbekistan ended in a 5:0 victory for the Europeans. Cristiano Ronaldo scored a brace for Portugal.
Nuno Mendes and Rafael Leão also scored one goal each. Another goal was recorded as an own goal by the Uzbekistan national team goalkeeper Abduvohid Nematov.
