Elanga recalled his time in Manchester with Ronaldo

The Swedish national team forward and Nottingham Forest striker Anthony Elanga spoke about the moments he spent alongside Cristiano Ronaldo at Manchester United. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
The young footballer did not hide his pride at playing alongside two of the greatest legends of our time—Cristiano Ronaldo and Lionel Messi—on the same pitch. This was reported by Goal.com.
It is worth noting that the Portuguese national team recently defeated Uzbekistan 5–0, with Ronaldo scoring a brace in the match. In an interview with Sweden Herald, Elanga expressed his amazement at seeing his former teammate perform at such a high level.
According to Elanga, Cristiano Ronaldo’s attitude toward training and his dedication to self-improvement serve as a true school for any young footballer. He emphasized that he learned not only on the pitch but also off it from the Portuguese star.
On professionalism and recovery, Elanga said: "I learned a lot from Ronaldo. Especially his condition after training and his focus on recovery amazed me.
Playing alongside him was a great honor for me. Seeing him still scoring goals is inspiring."
Currently, the 39-year-old Cristiano Ronaldo and the 33-year-old Lionel Messi continue to perform at the highest level of world football. Elanga acknowledged that maintaining such physical condition at this age requires tremendous effort.
Speaking about his future, the Swedish striker said time will tell whether he will still be playing at the age of forty. He also shared his view on the traditional debate among fans about Ronaldo versus Messi.
In his opinion, rather than comparing these two legends, one should simply enjoy their football. I cannot choose between them.
Just enjoy these moments, he added.
Reminder: Anthony Elanga is performing successfully for the Sweden national team under head coach Graham Potter.
His goal against the Netherlands was even praised by the legendary Zlatan Ibrahimović. At the same time, he continues to gain experience and apply the lessons he learned from Ronaldo in practice.
