Cole Palmer said he did not pass the JCH-2026 contract

Chelsea defender Cole Palmer first expressed disappointment that he was not included in England's final squad for the 2026 World Cup, as reported by Zamin.uz.
The 22-year-old footballer is currently on vacation in Ibiza, Spain, at the same time as the tournament. Palmer said that in recent years, this is the first time he has had the opportunity to fully rest.
I'm taking a break this summer. For the first time in three or four years, I'm completely switching off.
Then I'll return to what I love doing, Palmer said. The English player admitted that the past season did not go as he had hoped.
However, he emphasized that he does not intend to dwell on a decision that cannot be changed. This wasn't my best season, but now nothing can be changed.
I don't want to worry about something I can't change. As for the national team, I wish them luck in the tournament, he added.
Palmer also noted that, if his holiday plans allow, he will follow England's matches at the World Cup. For reference, besides Cole Palmer, Harry Maguire, Phil Foden, and Trent Alexander-Arnold also remained among the well-known players not included in England's squad for the 2026 World Cup.
Thus, Palmer accepted missing the World Cup and aims to return stronger for the new season after a short break. Source: one.uz
