Uzbekistan national football team fell to 60th place in FIFA ranking

Uzbekistan's national team dropped significantly in the FIFA ranking after three losses in the group stage of the 2026 World Cup, Zamin.uz reports.
The team fell from 50th to 60th place, losing a total of 49.20 ranking points. According to the current calculation, Uzbekistan's strength is 1409.73 points.
Uzbekistan first lost to Colombia 1:3, dropping 14.25 points. The 0:5 defeat against Portugal caused another loss of 11.64 points.
After the 1:3 loss to DR Congo, the team's score decreased by another 23.10 points. Meanwhile, Colombia, which leads the group, rose in the ranking.
The team Uzbekistan and DR Congo defeated drew with Portugal. According to the initial calculation, Colombians gained 29.07 points and rose from 13th to 11th place.
Their total score reached 1727.42 points. Portugal recorded one win and two draws in the group.
The 1:1 draw with DR Congo brought the team 12.76 points, while the big win over Uzbekistan returned 11.64 points. After the draw with Colombia, points decreased again.
As a result, Portugal dropped from 5th to 8th place with 1766.74 points. For DR Congo, the victory over Uzbekistan brought a significant increase.
The African team drew with Portugal in the group, lost to Colombia, and beat Uzbekistan. After these results, DR Congo gained 21.05 points and rose from approximately 46th to 41st place.
