"Bornmut" rejected "Arsenal" offer for Aleks Skott transfer

Arsenal London club sent an official inquiry to Bournemouth midfielder Alex Scott ahead of the close of the winter transfer window in an effort to strengthen their midfield. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
However, the attempt by Mikel Arteta’s side did not yield the desired result. Bournemouth’s management decided to keep one of their most talented players in the squad.
According to Goal.com, the club has reached a firm decision not to let go of their young talent. BBC reports that Bournemouth rejected Arsenal’s initial offer.
Currently, the 22-year-old midfielder is considered a key asset for the Cherries’ future plans. As such, the club not only refuses to sell him but has also begun talks to extend his current contract.
Although Scott’s current deal runs for another two years, the club intends to keep him for an even longer period. Alex Scott proved himself last season, appearing in thirty-nine matches and scoring four goals.
His technical ability in midfield and high work rate impressed Mikel Arteta. Arsenal aims to strengthen their squad and increase depth ahead of next season’s Premier League title challenge.
It’s not just Arsenal—other top English clubs are also monitoring Scott’s development closely. Manchester City, Manchester United, Tottenham, and Chelsea could all enter the race for this promising midfielder.
The player’s value has risen sharply following his call-up to the England national team. Reports indicate that Alex Scott was called up to the senior squad in November last year and participated in training camps under Thomas Tuchel.
Although he has yet to make his official debut, this experience has significantly boosted his market value. Bournemouth is not willing to let go of such a valuable asset easily.
Following Bournemouth’s refusal, Arsenal are now forced to consider alternatives. The Londoners are turning their attention to Newcastle United stars Bruno Guimarães and Sandro Tonali.
Experts believe that Guimarães’ transfer is more likely at the moment, as Tonali’s fee is considered prohibitively high. Arsenal intend to sign at least one high-quality midfielder before the transfer window closes.
If the Alex Scott option falls through completely, the club will redirect its focus to negotiations with Newcastle. In any case, Mikel Arteta clearly understands the need to refresh the central midfield and recognizes its importance in the title race.
