At that point, many expected Belgium’s elimination. However, the European representatives refused to surrender and showed true determination in the final minutes.
In the 86th minute, experienced striker Romelu Lukaku scored to give Belgium hope. Just moments later, in the 89th minute, Yuri Tilemans equalized.
