Milan striker Rafael Leao is planning to sell to Tottenham

Italian club Milan is preparing to part ways with one of its most expensive players, Rafael Leão. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
According to the latest information, the Portuguese winger has been offered a move to Tottenham Hotspur in London. If this transfer goes through, it will undoubtedly become one of the most talked-about events of the summer transfer window.
Details of the potential transfer are being reported by Goal.com. According to Italian media, Milan’s new head coach, Ruben Amorim, has decided that Rafael Leão no longer fits into his plans.
The coach believes the player does not align with his future vision or tactical system. At the same time, the club’s management views selling him as acceptable in order to improve the financial situation and raise funds for squad renewal.
The fact that Milan finished the previous season in fifth place also contributed to this decision. Milan’s management is demanding at least sixty-five million euros for the 25-year-old footballer.
Additionally, the club is open to considering a loan deal with an obligation to buy for seventy million euros. Rafael Leão scored ten goals in thirty Serie A matches last season, but his performance was sharply criticized by fans.
In some matches, even his own supporters expressed dissatisfaction with him. The player himself has not hidden his desire to leave Italy.
In one of his interviews, he emphasized that English football suits his playing style better. In his view, he cannot fully showcase his potential in Italy, while the Premier League offers the ideal stage to demonstrate his abilities.
Currently, Tottenham appears to be the most suitable option for him, as the team’s attacking style could help unlock the Portuguese winger’s strengths.
It is worth noting that Rafael Leão joined Milan from Lille in France in 2019.
Since then, he has made 239 appearances for the Italian club, scoring 39 goals.
At present, the player is focusing on important matches with the Portugal national team.
His future at the club and a possible move to a new team are expected to be resolved in the near future.
