The procedure for selling tickets for the World Cup matches has been announced.

The Uzbekistan Football Association has provided detailed information on how tickets for the 2026 World Cup qualifiers were distributed and how many were allocated to fans of the national team. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
According to the official statement, a total of 14,073 tickets were allocated for Uzbekistan’s matches in the group stage, of which 8,064 were purchased directly by our compatriots through the FIFA platform. Ticket sales were conducted in several stages.
The first stage began after the draw ceremony, running from December 12, 2025, to January 13, 2026. During this period, fans submitted special applications to obtain tickets for the matches they were interested in.
Later, ticket holders were selected through a random draw, and payments were automatically deducted from the bank cards of the winners. Additionally, from March to June 2026, an opportunity was created to purchase additional tickets directly.
The Association emphasized that equal opportunities were provided for all citizens in the ticket sale process. That is, the purchasing procedures were not limited to residents of participating countries only.
In accordance with FIFA regulations, at least 8% of stadium capacity was allocated for fans of each team. Overall, 16% of stadium seats were allocated to fans of both competing teams, while the remaining 84% of tickets were made available for open sale to football fans worldwide.
Ticket prices were also set by the federation, ranging from $140 to $700 depending on seat location. Certain limited quantities of seats were offered at a lower price of $60.
The majority of the 14,073 tickets allocated to support our national team were located in sectors behind the goal. This information was prepared based on materials from the one.uz website.
