Real Madrid has abandoned the idea of signing Enzo Fernández

Real Madrid has completely abandoned the idea of signing Chelsea midfielder Enzo Fernández during the summer transfer window, Zamin.uz reported.
The club's management and coaching staff concluded that the Argentine's playing style does not fully align with the team's current tactical setup or future plans. This decision also puts an end to prolonged transfer speculation that had sparked numerous debates.
According to journalist Ramon Alvares, Real Madrid clarified its position to put an end to rumors surrounding Enzo Fernández. As a result, speculation about the 24-year-old midfielder's imminent move to the Santiago Bernabéu has not been substantiated.
The club indicated it does not intend to engage in further discussions on the matter. The primary reason cited is the presence of adequate options already available in midfield.
According to sources, Real Madrid's leadership is concerned that Enzo Fernández would not be able to operate effectively alongside Federico Valverde and Jude Bellingham from a tactical standpoint. The Madrid side aims to build its midfield core around the Valverde-Bellingham partnership in the future.
Therefore, spending a large sum on another high-profile central midfielder is seen as neither economically nor sportingly justified. According to Transfermarkt, Enzo Fernández's current market value stands at 90 million euros.
Although the Argentine remains an important player in Chelsea's squad, he has no place in Real Madrid's transfer strategy. For now, the Spanish giants are focusing on strengthening other weak areas of the squad and attracting young talents.
According to One.uz, the club is currently evaluating new candidates to reinforce its defensive line this summer.
