Abdumalik Erbutayev managed to defeat his opponent in the first round.

Odiljon Sandibekov's coach, Miramgali Akmoldinov, shared details of the bout against Abdumalik Erbutayev from the recent IBA Nomad 15 tournament, as reported by Zamin.uz.
The specialist explained why the fight against the Uzbek athlete ended unexpectedly early, in the first round. According to the coach, although a clear strategy had been prepared in advance, Sandibekov fell into a difficult situation due to a mistake he made in the opening seconds.
Akmoldinov emphasized that the team had studied Erbutayev's fighting style and focused on caution. The plan was for the athlete to safely navigate the first minute and adapt to his opponent's movements.
Preparations were conducted at a high level, with sparring partners selected to match Erbutayev's physical attributes. The coach noted that all tasks were performed diligently during training, but the athlete's psychological state let him down during the actual fight.
Known by the nickname "Ados," Sandibekov became overly agitated at the start of the bout and lost his composure, creating a favorable opportunity for the experienced opponent.
Abdumalik Erbutayev, famous by his nickname "Abi," took full advantage of the situation, freely preparing his attacks and delivering a series of powerful blows. As the coach stated, it was precisely this initial barrage that caused Sandibekov's jaw to fracture.
The subsequent punches worsened the injury and ultimately decided the outcome of the fight. Although the bout in the light middleweight division was scheduled to last three rounds, it ended prematurely due to the Uzbek fighter's swift and precise attacks.
Erbutayev secured a first-round knockout, claiming a vivid victory. As reported by One.uz, this demonstrates how the Uzbek athlete's skill completely overturned the opponent's plans within just a few seconds.
