The management of Chelsi decided to put Alejandro Garnachoni on sale

Chelsea are planning to overhaul their squad and offload surplus players during the summer transfer window, Zamin.uz reports.
Under new head coach Xabi Alonso, Argentine winger Alejandro Garnacho is expected to be put up for sale. The player, brought to Manchester United with high hopes, failed to establish himself at Stamford Bridge and did not perform to the expected level.
This is reported by Goal.com. According to Football London, Chelsea’s management is ready to listen to offers for the 22-year-old after just one season.
Despite being signed for nearly £40 million last year, Garnacho failed to prove he was a long-term part of the club’s project, even though he had signed a lengthy contract running until 2032.
This indicates the initial confidence in him was high. Although Garnacho appeared in 43 matches across all competitions last season, he failed to become a regular, undisputed starter.
Frequent squad rotation and general instability within the team negatively affected his performance. He managed to score eight goals in all competitions during the season, only one of which came in the Premier League.
Such low output was deemed insufficient for an attacking midfielder. Chelsea’s management is concerned not only by his low goal tally but also by his overall inconsistency on the pitch.
Chelsea hope to recoup their initial investment by selling him. Furthermore, Manchester United are set to receive 10% of any future transfer fee, which obliges Chelsea to seek a higher price from potential buyers.
Although Garnacho’s spell in England did not work out, his value in the European football market remains high. At the same time, representatives from Serie A in Italy have shown serious interest in the player.
Specifically, Napoli, Juventus, and Milan are closely monitoring his situation. Roma are also considering the option of taking him on loan.
However, Chelsea’s management has stated they will reject any loan offers and only enter negotiations for a permanent transfer. The London club believes that due to the player’s age and potential, the transfer market will offer a suitable price for him.
If completed, this transfer would represent an attempt by Chelsea to correct another costly mistake. For Garnacho, it would be a new opportunity to revive his career and demonstrate his top-level ability.
Although official talks have not yet begun, it is expected that the matter will be fully resolved by the end of the summer.
