The main goal of the criminal was to kidnap the footballer's young daughter. Despite severe burn injuries and unbearable pain, Yoan gathered his strength, showed resistance to the attack, and saved his child.

Thanks to the quick help of doctors, he retained his vision, but now he has to use special eye drops for the rest of his life. This incident also dealt a hard blow to the athlete's psyche.

For a long time, he suffered from the effects of the burns and became distrustful of people. According to available information during the investigation, the criminal woman kidnapped someone else's child to hide her own pregnancy and make it appear as her own.

After four years of court proceedings, the criminal was sentenced to eighteen years in prison. Yoan Vissa, having overcome all difficulties, not only returned to the field but also became a star of the world level.

His story is a clear example of human willpower being stronger than any barrier.
