Uzbekistani Taekwondo Fighters Begin Battle for Medals at the Asian Games

Taekwondo competitions are being held from October 1–3 at the Toyohashi Gymnasium complex in Japan as part of the XX Asian Games. One.uz reports this.
The most notable aspect of this competition is that medals will be awarded not only for traditional pumse and kyorugi but also for virtual taekwondo. The Uzbekistan national team will compete for the Asian champion title and medals in various weight categories over three days.
Uzbekistan national team roster The men's national team will participate in four weight categories. Asadbek Samandarov in the -58 kg category, Najmiddin Qosimxojiyev in the -68 kg category, Jasurbek Jaysunov in the -80 kg category, and Marat Mavlonov in the +80 kg category will defend our country.
Three athletes from the women's team will participate: Madina Mirabzalova in the -57 kg category, Ozoda Sobirjonova in the -67 kg category, and Svetlana Saidova in the +67 kg category will take to the tatami. Virtual taekwondo participation Jasurbek Jaysunov will represent Uzbekistan in the virtual taekwondo discipline, which has been newly added to the Asian Games program.
This means that Jaysunov will defend our country's honor not only in the traditional kyorugi competitions in the -80 kg weight category but also in the new direction based on virtual realistic technologies. On October 2, virtual taekwondo and kyorugi competitions will be held. On October 3, all competitions in WT taekwondo will conclude.
