Uzbek boxers won 17 medals in the Chinese tournament

The members of the Uzbekistan national boxing team participated in an international joint training camp held in the Xinjiang Autonomous Region from September 14 to 29, where they won 17 medals at the 4th “Belt and Road” International Tournament. This was reported by One.uz.
This result reflects the team’s high-level preparation and complete readiness for international competition. Our boxers concluded the tournament with 7 gold, 4 silver, and 6 bronze medals, confirming Uzbekistan’s strong position in boxing on the global stage.
Gold medalists and their weight categories The boxers who won gold medals were: -50 kg – Shodiyor Meliqoziyev, -60 kg – Shohrux Abdumalikov, -65 kg – Madiyar Daniyarov, -90 kg – Ruslan Sharipboyev, +90 kg – Madiyar Saydrahimov, -51 kg – Zilolaxon Yusufova, and -80 kg – Ruxshona Parpiyeva. Each of them secured first place in their respective weight categories, adding 7 gold medals to the team’s overall achievement.
This outcome demonstrates each athlete’s high-level technique, physical conditioning, and psychological resilience. Silver and bronze medalists The silver medalists were: -65 kg – Adhamjon Muxiddinov, -75 kg – Safarmurod Allaberganov, +90 kg – Shaxzod Polvonov, and +80 kg – Sobiraxon Shohobiddinova.
The bronze medalists were: -50 kg – Amirbek Ismoilov, -70 kg – Abdulaziz Jo‘raqulov, +90 kg – Ozodbek Aliyev, -48 kg – Jasmin Tohirova, -65 kg – Sevinch Xurramova, and -75 kg – Aysanem Saruarova. They also competed fiercely against strong international rivals, showcasing the depth and development of Uzbek boxing to the world.
Participation of coaches and referees During the camp and tournament, the team’s preparation was overseen by the coaching staff: Ramz Axmedov, Yusufjon Tursunov, Ikrom Berdiyev, Ozod Xasanov, Baxodirjon Nuriddinov, and Rustam Abilov. Referee Asliddin Abdualimov also participated in the competition, further demonstrating Uzbekistan’s expertise in boxing.
Overall outcome and significance of the camp A total of 17 medals (7 gold, 4 silver, 6 bronze) represent the highest achievement for Uzbek boxing at the Xinjiang training camp and the “Belt and Road” tournament. Here, our boxers did not merely collect medals—they tested their abilities in an international competitive environment, gained valuable experience, and laid a solid foundation for future competitions.
