Marat Mavlonov achieved a silver medal in WT Taekwondo

Aichi and Nagoya in Japan are hosting the 2026 Asian Summer Games, as reported by One.uz.
The Uzbek sports delegation secured the next highest honor at the event, with Marat Mavlonov, a member of the national taekwondo WT team, winning a silver medal.
This result clearly reflects success in Uzbek sports. Marat Mavlonov’s performance in the competition was strong and confident from the early stages.
In the elimination round, he faced an experienced representative from the Iranian team. In the final match, his opponent launched sharp attacks, but Marat maintained relentless pressure and narrowly prevailed.
As a result, Marat Mavlonov emerged victorious and claimed the silver medal. The delegation celebrated the achievement and outlined future plans.
