Manchester City manager Maresca describes tactical changes after PSG win

Manchester City head coach Enzo Maresca shared his thoughts after the 2-4 defeat to French club Paris Saint-Germain in the central match of the UEFA Champions League. One.uz reports.
In the match, the Citizens found themselves in a very difficult situation after conceding three unanswered goals by the 32nd minute of the first half. In the second half, Erling Haaland scored a brace to try to narrow the gap, but PSG scored another goal to secure the victory.
In an interview with TNT Sports, Mareska stated that they did not play well in the opening minutes, although they looked good until conceding the first goal. He noted that the two consecutive goals were a shock and expressed that they performed much better in the second half, feeling they deserved a better result.
He mentioned that tactical changes were made at halftime, which helped on the pitch, but assessed that the game was strange. He added that in his conversation with Luis Enrique, the opponent's manager openly told him that luck had been on their side today.
The next test: a Premier League match. Following their disappointment in European competition, the Citizens are forced to focus their full attention on the domestic championship.
On Saturday, Manchester City will host Ipswich Town at home in a Premier League match. The goal: to achieve a convincing victory in front of their fans and restore mental stability in the title race.
