The Uzbekistan Football Referees Association has approved the "Paxtakor" protests

A special analytical meeting was held on the Zoom platform with the participation of representatives from the Uzbekistan Football Referees Association (UFRA), the Professional Football League (PFL), and the "Paxtakor" football club. One.uz reports this.
During the meeting, serious protests made by the "Paxt5akor" club during the Superliga match held on October 20 were reviewed, and a series of gross errors by FIFA referee Ilgiz Tantashev that directly influenced the match result were officially confirmed. Main confirmed errors
As a result of the analysis conducted under the leadership of UFRA's new head, Farhod Abdullayev, a decision was reached on three critical situations.
First, it was determined that an 11-meter penalty kick was incorrectly awarded. Although VAR referee Firdavs Norsafarov emphasized that the situation was not a penalty, Ilgiz Tantashev insisted on the wrong decision even after personally reviewing the video replay on the monitor.
Second, from the beginning of the game, Vanya Ilich should have received a yellow card for a rough action against his opponent Doston Hamdamov. If this had been implemented, the warning shown in the 58th minute would have turned into a second yellow card, and he should have been sent off the field.
In the third situation, Muhammadqodir Hamraliyev played with his elbow against Abdurauf Bo'riyev; while this did not warrant a red card, it was evaluated as a foul that should have clearly resulted in a yellow card. Measures applied to the referee
According to information provided by the "Paxtakor" club press service, questions were raised regarding the future of the referee who made unfair decisions during the match.
UFRA representatives responded: "You will not see him on the field in the near future," confirming that Ilgiz Tantashev has been suspended from officiating official matches for an indefinite period. This decision was adopted as a strict measure to improve the quality and transparency of refereeing in Uzbek football.
