Uzbekistan Cup semifinals to be held at neutral venues

The Uzbekistan Cup semifinals will take place on November 24, following the FIFA dates in November. One.uz reports this.
According to the PFL and club agreement, both matches will be held in neutral venues. The clash between "Andijon" and "Lokomotiv" will be held at the OKMK stadium in Olmaliq, while the match between OKMK and "Navbahor" will take place at the "Lokomotiv" stadium in Tashkent.
Stadium repairs changed the plan Initially, the games leading up to the final were intended to be held in Tashkent. However, the main arenas in the capital—the "Bunyodkor," "Jar," and "Olimpiya" stadiums—have been closed for renovation.
Renovation work is also ongoing at the "Paxtakor" arena. Therefore, the PFL was forced to look for other options.
The Valley option was not accepted without the clubs' consent The league had proposed holding the 1/2 finals in Namangan and Fergana, and the final at the "Markaziy" stadium in Namangan. However, this option required the consent of all four clubs that reached the final.
The proposal was rejected because "Andijon," OKMK, and "Lokomotiv" voted to stick with the previous plan. Since "Paxtakor" and "Nasaf" were eliminated in the 1/8 finals, and "Neftchi" in the 1/4 finals, convenient dates in the calendar opened up for the semifinalists.
The final venue depends on the results The location of the decisive cup final will be determined based on the semifinal result. If Tashkent teams reach the final, the match will take place in the capital.
If "Andijon" and "Navbahor" reach the final, the decisive match will be held at the "Istiqlol" stadium in Fergana. The date of the final will also be determined after the semifinals, depending on the Superleague play-off status of the "Andijon" club.
