Zenit is considering new candidates for the left-back position

The "Zenit" team in Peter is continuing its search to strengthen the left-back position. This was reported by Euro-football.ru.

Several candidates are being considered to improve the team roster. Among them, 21-year-old Argentine player Roman Vega is being regarded as one of the main candidates.

He currently plays for "Argentinos Juniors" and stands out on the field with his effective actions despite his young age. According to previous information, "Zenit" has shown serious interest in this player, but the "River Plate" club has also paid attention to him as a competitor. If the opportunity to transfer Roman Vega does not materialize, the Petersburg team is also considering two other candidates for the left-back position.

Both options consist of South American players. In the last season, Roman Vega played in 12 matches, scoring one goal and providing one assist. His transfer value is estimated at around five million euros.
