Aleksandr Alaev, as the president of the Russian Professional Football League, expressed his thoughts on the conduct of the Russian Cup group stage race. This was reported by Euro-football.ru.
In his opinion, this process went without any violations. Alaev stated that they have become accustomed to recognizing victories, and the results could have been presented and organized better.
Nevertheless, the race took place, and there were no doubts or questions raised. He expressed confidence about this in an interview with the "Championat" publication. Earlier, representatives of the Moscow "Dynamo" team viewed the race with skepticism, as club representatives did not participate, and the process was not broadcast live.
In this regard, the team's general director Pavel Pivovarov emphasized that these criticisms were made solely for the purpose of improving the competition organization. He noted that there was no conflict or disagreement between them and the Russian Football Inquiry.
This issue was assessed as efforts made to further improve the race organized based solely on the principles of transparency and fairness. Thus, confidence is expressed that the process was conducted transparently and correctly.
