Former midfielder Kristian Bistrovich commented on his departure from the club. This was reported by Euro-football.ru.
He acknowledged that he had been negotiating to extend his contract with CSKA, but all processes were halted after head coach Marko Nikolić left his position. Bistrovich stated that he immediately understood he would leave the club after Fabio Chelestini was appointed as head coach.
According to him, the new coach did not reach out to him, and all decisions were made by the management. Kristian Bistrovich had been representing CSKA since 2018 but left the club as a free agent at the end of the last season.
He intended to continue negotiations with the club, but changes in the head coach and management did not allow this. During his time at the club, Bistrovich dedicated himself to the team and gained the attention of fans with his performance.
However, based on the new head coach's policy, he was forced to leave the club. Thus, Kristian Bistrovich's departure from CSKA was related to coaching changes and management decisions.
Due to the suspension of negotiations with him and the absence of a personal meeting with the new coach, he decided to change his path. This situation signals the beginning of a period of changes at the club and that contracts are being reviewed.
