Former "Spartak" and USSR national team goalkeeper Anzor Kavazashvili emphasized in an interview with "Evro-Futbol.Ru" that Valery Karpin's appointment as the head coach of the "Dinamo" team is aimed at leading the team to championship in the Russian Premier League in the near future. According to Kavazashvili, Karpin came to Moscow "Dinamo" specifically to fulfill this task. He intends to lead the team to championship as the greatest club of the Soviet Union and Russia.

Currently, Karpin is trying to achieve the team's goals not only with his coaching abilities but also with his knowledge in the commercial field. Kavazashvili stated that Karpin promised the "Dinamo" management to win the Premier League.

If that is the case, he must fulfill this promise immediately. If he had been invited for a long term, Karpin would have asked for the opportunity to stabilize the team in the first two years and then work to improve his performance further.
