A French woman discovered that she had blood cancer with the help of ChatGPT, Bild reports.
It is noted that a woman named Marli Garnrayter suffered from constant sweating, itching, and fatigue after her father's death. At first, she attributed this to the grief and anxiety she was experiencing. However, as time passed and the symptoms of the illness did not disappear, but rather she began to lose weight, she started to suspect that something was wrong. The woman entered her symptoms into ChatGPT, and the artificial intelligence diagnosed her with blood cancer.
"I was skeptical and didn't pay attention. I thought it couldn't possibly be true," the woman says.
Later, new symptoms of the illness appeared – constant fatigue and a feeling of pressure in her chest. When Marli finally consulted a doctor, a suspicious tumor was found in her left lung. Diagnosis: Hodgkin lymphoma – a type of blood cancer.
"I was completely in shock. I never thought it could really be cancer," Marli recounts.
She is currently undergoing a course of chemotherapy. Marli's story once again proves the importance of not ignoring any symptoms of illness.
"If your body is trying to tell you something, listen to it," she advises.
The woman calls on everyone to consult medical professionals from the early stages of any illness.
Previously, London scientists had discovered a new method for treating cancer using artificial intelligence. In this method, digital "twins" of patients are created, and treatments are tested on them beforehand.
