Google has updated the Google Maps app for iPhone users and introduced a new feature that makes planning trips much easier, Pepelac.news reports.
Now users will be able to identify locations through photos on their phones and save them to lists in Google Maps. This reduces the need to keep long notes or search for the necessary ones among many pictures.
The "screenshot list" feature, which can be enabled from the "Settings" section, analyzes the photos using artificial intelligence, identifies place names, and allows them to be saved to a special list. These locations will appear on the map and can be shared with travel companions.
The feature has currently been launched for iPhone users in the United States. It is planned to be introduced for Android users in the coming days.
This is one of a series of innovations introduced by Google to simplify trip planning with the help of artificial intelligence.
