Apple has now started sending verification codes to users through the Telegram messenger. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
This was reported by Rozetked citing the iPhones.ru editorial team. A special bot named @VerificationCodes has been launched to send verification codes.
Through this service, companies and app developers will be able to easily and quickly send one-time verification codes to users via Telegram. Payments are made through the Fragment platform, and the price for one code is approximately $0.01, which is about 125 soms.
Currently, there is no clear information about how the system works. Journalists managed to receive a message from the bot only once when logging into an Apple account, but they were unable to reproduce this result.
Apple has not yet provided an official comment regarding this new feature. This innovation may create convenience for users, but additional information about its security and stability is expected to be announced in the future.
