Some stations of the Tashkent metro will be temporarily closed. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
In order to maintain the metro infrastructure and improve service quality, from August 2, 2025, the operation of 6 metro stations on the “Texnopark – Yangiobod” line will be temporarily suspended. This measure is related to safety and technical maintenance work and will be carried out as part of planned preventive activities.
To ensure passenger convenience, large-capacity metrobuses will be put into operation on the “Texnopark – Qipchoq – Texnopark” route. These special metro buses will replace the closed stations and transport passengers to designated locations.
Metrobuses will operate daily from 05:00 to 23:00 and will be completely free of charge. The responsible organizations have announced their readiness to create all necessary conditions for passengers during the period of temporary changes.
Indicators, informational materials, and a information service will be organized at the stations. Passengers are requested to be patient and understanding.
