
A new automobile road will be constructed between the city of Tashkent and the Chorvoq area. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
According to the interview of the Minister of Transport of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Ilhom Mahkamov, with the "Uzbekistan 24" television channel, this project will cover the Tashkent region, the city of Tashkent, and the Syrdarya region. The aim of the project is to improve the transport infrastructure leading to the "Chorvoq-Chimyon" recreation and leisure area.
Currently, the concept of the project has been prepared and it will be implemented on a competitive basis. The works will be carried out in collaboration with leading international companies, based on a partnership mechanism between the public and private sectors.
Transport Minister Ilhom Mahkamov emphasized that the construction of the new automobile road from Tashkent to Chorvoq will begin without affecting existing routes. This road will provide citizens with fast and convenient travel options, as well as create significant convenience for tourists.
Additionally, the new infrastructure will serve to enhance investment and tourism attractiveness. The implementation of the project will be of great importance in developing interregional transport connections and supporting the regional economy (source: Uzbekistan 24).
