This incident occurred on July 29, 2025, on a flight from Tashkent to Delhi, India. During the flight, one of the passengers, a 48-year-old woman, began to feel unwell.
The flight crew immediately called for help from a doctor or medical personnel on board. At that moment, a student from India, Muhammad Anis, who was studying at the international faculty of Tashkent State Medical University, stepped in to assist.
He quickly assessed the patient's condition and identified an increased heart rate and difficulty in breathing. Muhammad Anis began performing carotid massage, a technique considered crucial for stabilizing heart rhythm.
After about fifteen seconds, the woman's condition began to improve, her heart rate normalized, and her breathing stabilized. Although the airplane continued its flight, the student kept the patient under constant observation.

This incident demonstrated the knowledge and skills of young people studying in the field of medicine, as well as the strength of their sense of responsibility. The student's actions not only saved a life but also left a deep impression on the hearts of other passengers on the plane.
This situation reminds us that human life can be at risk at any moment and shows that medical personnel must always be prepared. The administration of Tashkent State Medical University expressed gratitude to Muhammad Anis.
The university students also proudly acknowledged his bravery. This incident reaffirmed that the medical profession requires not only medical knowledge but also humanity, promptness, and responsibility.
