
The President of the Republic of Uzbekistan has adopted a decision on "Approval of the International Agreement". This was reported by Zamin.uz.
According to this decision, the agreement on air traffic between the governments of Uzbekistan and Saudi Arabia has been officially approved. This international agreement was signed on October 22, 2024, in the capital of Malaysia, Kuala Lumpur.
It is expected to take cooperation in the aviation sector between the two countries to a new level. The agreement aims to strengthen relations in the field of air traffic, expand the geography of flights, and increase the capacity for passenger and cargo transportation.
According to the presidential decision, the Ministry of Transport of the Republic of Uzbekistan has been designated as the responsible authorized body for the implementation of the agreement. Additionally, the Cabinet of Ministers and the heads of relevant ministries and organizations have been tasked with strictly monitoring the practical implementation of all terms and requirements of the agreement.
