According to information provided by the press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, currently, citizens of Uzbekistan have the right to enter nearly 40 countries without a visa. Additionally, there is the possibility of simplified entry to another 42 countries.
As emphasized by the spokesperson of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ahror Burhonov, ensuring the free and convenient movement of our citizens abroad, as well as abolishing or easing visa requirements, is one of the ministry's priority tasks. To this end, negotiations are being conducted with many countries around the world, and this work is yielding practical results.
In recent years, visa-free regimes have been established with countries such as China, the United Arab Emirates, Thailand, Oman, and Iran. Countries like Saudi Arabia, Qatar, and Vietnam have simplified the visa application process.
These changes have made international travel much more convenient and full of opportunities for citizens of Uzbekistan. Currently, active negotiations are ongoing regarding the abolition or easing of visa requirements with dozens of other countries.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs is striving to further expand its efforts in this area and is working to create new opportunities for our citizens. According to officials, travel and foreign experiences play a significant role in broadening citizens' worldview and enhancing our country's image on the international stage.
