The project to upgrade the road from Tashkent to Chorvoq has begun

A new road construction is planned on the Tashkent-Chorvoq route. This was reported by Zamin.uz.

According to Uz24.uz, Transport Minister Ilhom Mahkamov announced in an interview with the Uzbekistan 24 television channel that the new road construction project has been presented.

According to the minister, the Chorvoq-Chimyon recreational area has become an important tourist region, and significant investments are being made in this area. Due to the increase in traffic congestion on the existing road, the construction of a new road has become necessary.

A decision has been made by the president regarding the construction of the Tashkent-Chorvoq road. The initial concept has been prepared, and the construction will be carried out based on a tender, with the participation of advanced companies, in cooperation between the public and private sectors.

The construction of the new road will not affect the existing road, will ease the flow of traffic, and will not damage the infrastructure. This project is expected to make a significant contribution to the development of the tourism sector in the region.
