Uzbekistanis travel the most to Kyrgyzstan

The National Statistics Committee reported on which countries Uzbek tourists travel the most. This was reported by Zamin.uz.

In the period from January to June 2025, a total of 3 million 500 thousand citizens of Uzbekistan traveled abroad for tourism purposes. This figure is 810 thousand or 29.7 percent higher compared to the same period last year.

Kyrgyzstan ranks first among the most visited countries, with more than 1 million 527 thousand tourists visiting there. Following are Kazakhstan (664 thousand), Tajikistan (631 thousand), Russia (230 thousand), and Saudi Arabia (145 thousand).

Additionally, many tourists have also traveled to countries such as Turkey, the United Arab Emirates, Egypt, Thailand, and Vietnam. This data shows that Uzbeks primarily prefer to visit neighboring countries as well as popular destinations for religious and tourism purposes.
