
An important international agreement has been confirmed between the governments of Uzbekistan and Jordan for visa-free travel for holders of diplomatic passports. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
This agreement was signed on February 3, 2025, in Amman, Jordan, and came into effect based on the President's decision No. PQ–239 dated July 30, 2025. According to the agreement, diplomats from both countries will have the right to enter each other's territory without a visa, to stay temporarily, and to move freely.
This will further strengthen diplomatic relations and enhance the trust-based cooperation between the two countries. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan has been designated as the responsible authority for the implementation of this international treaty.
