
A new and modern bus station has started operating in the city of Samarkand. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
The Samarkand regional administration announced this. The bus station is located in the Cho‘pon-ota neighborhood and was built in partnership between the public and private sectors.
A total of 12 million US dollars was allocated for the project. The building fully meets modern architectural style, energy-saving technologies, and safety requirements.
This bus station serves not only as a transport hub but also as a multifunctional service center. It has 120 retail stores, 3 restaurants, 14 service outlets, 1 car dealership, and 2 hotels.
The facility provides permanent employment for more than 300 people. The new bus station plays an important role in the development of the infrastructure of the city of Samarkand
