Uzbekistan and Kyrgyzstan have reached an agreement on mutual recognition of pension service. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
This decision will significantly simplify the pension process for citizens who have worked in both countries. According to the agreement, the years worked in both states will be combined into a single account and taken into consideration when calculating the pension amount.
This serves to improve the savings and social security rights of working individuals. As officials emphasized, this agreement will help strengthen social guarantees for citizens of both countries and enhance legal protection in labor migration.
At the same time, the agreement will also make a significant contribution to developing cooperation between the two countries. Citizens will now have the opportunity to include the years worked in both countries when calculating their pensions.
This further strengthens their social protection. The implementation of the agreement ensures the integrity of pension systems and serves to regulate labor migration on a legal basis.
