It has been reported that no valuable artifacts were damaged as a result of the fire that occurred at the center of Islamic civilization. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
According to the official statement, the exhibits intended for the museum are stored in a separate building located outside the new complex, under constant supervision and full security conditions. At the time of the fire, the building did not contain the Kaaba cover or other valuable exhibits.
Reports circulating on social media claiming that there were people in the building during the incident on August 19 and that artifacts were damaged have been deemed unfounded. The center's management firmly denied these claims.
Currently, the project construction work is not yet fully completed, with the company “Trest-12” operating as the main contractor. Funding for the construction is being allocated by a special directorate under the government.
Additionally, foreign companies and designers have also been involved in the project. This information was provided by the Kursiv.uz website.
