The number of marketplaces has reached 163, VAT is refunded

It was noted during the head of state's meeting with entrepreneurs that the number of marketplaces has increased from 24 to 163 in the last three years. This was reported by Zamin.uz.

According to President Shavkat Mirziyoyev, entrepreneurs are learning to export their products through digital platforms and are demanding the refund of value-added tax (VAT) for products sold on national and foreign marketplaces, just like in traditional exports. The head of state instructed officials to formalize and implement this process.

Additionally, a five-year strategy is planned to be developed to increase and support startups in the field of financial technologies. An "Open Banking" ecosystem will be introduced, ensuring effective cooperation between banks, financial technology companies, and startups.
